Horrorfestiwal.pl at Multikino cinemas network

The idea behind horrorfestiwal.pl is to show the greatest horror film achievements from recent years. All the titles that were considered during selection had to be the premieres on Polish film market. They have been made by the young filmmakers and respected horror masters as well. One can find slashers, horrorfests with special effects, the films full of black humour and classic gothic horror movies in our selection.

Horrorfestiwal.pl 2009 — next edition — October, the 22nd-24th Creating the viewing schedule our main goal was to find the right balance between mainstream and independent cinema. The second landmark of our selection was to show the multicultural horror movies from around the world. There will be titles from Far East, Scandinavia, England and US.

The films will be judged by the public and by the proffessional jury of Polish journalists.The screenings will take place in 13 cities in Multikino (www.multikino.pl) chain cinemas. They have the best projection equipment and the most comfortable seats among the Polish cinemas, so we hope in the end of October they will be full of public - declared horror fans and the usual audience that looks for the thrills in the cinema.

There is no other film genre that has so many festivals dedicated to it. San Francisco, New York, Brussels, London - are among the cities in which such events took place. Now, for the first time in history, Poland has joined the group.
